A yellow thunderstorm warning is in place on Saturday as heavy rain and thunderstorms could hit London.
The Met Office have predicted extremely wet and possibly severe weather in the capital this weekend.
Whilst temperatures will remain relatively high, in the low 20s/high 10s, a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms is in place covering a large section of the country, stretching from the north down to the midlands and ending several miles below London.
The Met office say thunderstorms and rain may bring some disruption, namely on Saturday, with a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, causing damage to buildings from floodwater, lighting or hail.
Where flooding or lightning strikes occur, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services, and spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures, the weather forecasters added.
There is a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads, and is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost
Those hoping to watch England's quarter final match in a beer garden on July 3 might want to reconsider.
The rest of Friday should be pleasant, with sunny intervals changing to clouds in the early evening.
Saturday's forecast contains a minimum of 30% precipitation for the entire day, with temperatures of 21C set against heavy rain and the yellow thunderstorm warning.
Sunday might also see rain hit the capital, but no weather warning is in place.
