Ice skating legends, Torvill and Dean, have joined a list of famous faces supporting Radio Marsden.
Radio Marsden, based at the Royal Marsden cancer hospital in Sutton, needs £50,000 to replace ageing equipment otherwise it will have to go off-air permanently.
The Radio Marsden Bear has been meeting with his famous friends in an attempt to raise awareness of the radio station.
Radio Marsden chairman, Jason Reynolds, said: “Famous names from the big screen, the small screen, the world of entertainment, showbiz and sport are all getting behind our appeal.
“To have iconic legends like Jayne and Chris add their names to our appeal is flattering and an honour. They jumped at the chance to support us.”
At the Sarajevo 1984 Winter Olympics Torvill and Dean became the highest scoring figure skaters of all time.
